2026Designed and implemented all audio from scratch using Wwise and Unity. All SFX and Music are 24 bit, 48khz .WAVs and have been mixed and mastered to comply with industry standards. The music was made to play with the same theme and arrangement throughout the game, but to dynamically change its style depending on what the player is doing. I also thought it would be fun to use the infamous "Meowsynth" VST for the main theme due to the mascot being a cat.
A lot of the SFX are re-sampled and use instances of Foley and Serum. The menu sounds take heavy inspiration from the Nintendo Switch menu sounds, and I wanted to emulate the cute, satisfying clicks and bloops. I also used sounds from popular games like Fortnite, League of Legends, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for reference on how they achieved different moods with their layers (Shop_LegendaryAppear takes inspiration from League's "Youmuu's Ghostblade" activate sound as an obvious example).
